Will We Ever Face Another Terrorist Attack

With all the after math of 9/11. All the safeguards and measures being taken. What's your opinion. Will the US face another terrorist attack in the near future.

Near future? Maybe not...

Future? More than likely; if not, definitely.

Yes most definately, we have already seen that Bin Laden is a man that goes through with his threats. As long as he is alive he will have keep his terrorist cells funded and therefore his attacks with planning will come to pass. I often wonder how many cells are here in the US.

I put up a link early Sunday morning(about page 3 or 4 of the non sports)- Chavez is letting Hezbollah recruit from amongst South Americans in his country, these folk sbasically have no education, and so might just believe anything they are told. It is just a matter of time.

Only have two things to say:
1. Our power won't be destroyed; we may be harmed, but not destroyed!

2. WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER.

Agreed, but do you have any idea how much of the US is owned by foreign investors? That will be the downfall of the country, when and if it comes. When the first G8 meeting and dollar devaluation took place, the groundwork was laid.

That ("our power wont be destroyed") is a pretty arrogant ethnocentric statement to make. I mean, I'm extremely patriotic but I'm pretty sure a lot of Romans said the same thing about themselves. To act is if us keeping 'our power' is a law of the universe is a falacy. (A side note: who says the way we use 'our power', or us having it, is a good thing? Not saying one way or the other, just putting it out there to provoke thought.)

I concur that there is likely to be another attack at some point. As Prince put it, "forever is a mightly long time." Hopefully it will not be soon though.
